 | Treyquel "Trey" Jamison is an American Rapper born in Portsmouth, Va. he attended I.C. Norcom and is making music while managing his record label based out of Portsmouth, Va. Treyquel has released 4 mixtapes to date; his record label has since grown to a roster of two. Trey also calls is self a “Hustla” he has been known to traffic bootleg CD’s in his early life and even says in one song “While they were out doing fundraisers trying to get the school fed/I was out the hood getting cash off of bootlegs.” Trey feels like he does a “little to much” and works himself “over time in the booth.” At school he’d be asked to rap some doubted him repeatedly but it didn’t stop him “they’d actually put their head down or close their ears when I was rapping” Trey said in a recent interview. “But I still didn’t let it stop me I just keep doing it that’s when I thought to start singing other peoples song to boost my popularity then I’ll just hittem’ and they won’t know what happened and then I’ll be they favorite rapper”. Trey has also stated that to everybody claiming to him he was going to be nothing (mostly teachers) when he gets his deal he will walk in to the school building ask for a visitors pass and throw a stack in every teacher’s face that put him down. Trey is currently in the final step of his new mixtape release on Thanksgiving Day entitled "Your Welcome" Be Cause he feels that he's been serving the world with good music half his life and their greatly appreciated so as he.
